to Methal Kanawi's El Helwa (Beautiful)

Authentic Choreography of Upper Egypt Fellaheem

Amara is credited with authentic detail to her choreographies and is sponsored by Embassy of Egyptian Tourism, Egypt Air, & United Nations Arabic Culture Club. She is delighted to pass on her work to you for your education and performing opportunities.

Styled after Mahmoud Reda (The most famous folklore choreographer of Egypt), Amara after translating this song, designs moves that match the meaning of the song. Often, dancer use the wrong dress or cane to this music and once you know what this song means, you may now dance with authenticity. You may integrate into cabaret performances with full skirts and baskets or brass / silver vases for variation on your cabaret shows. Great for groups for stage or nightclub.

Amara faces you on camera to break down the movements and then faces away from the camera for you to follow as you progress through the dance. She clarifies often each step so you gain better comprehension of the moves as you advance through he video.

Amara is well know for her authenticity to dance movements but in particular to grouping together moves into combinations that are easy to remember to integrate into your own improvisational dancing. The video features Amara dancing the full choreography in the workshop and in costume for a live performances.
