Every once in awhile I would like to remind our students about the wonderful

Opportunities that separate Tapestry from other schools for you.

At Tapestry, we endeavor to provide our students with a comprehensive overview of

Belly Dance Past and Present through technique classes, performances and video nights

Amara gives us time and energy to personally provide every student with attention

And help them on their journey.

We specialize in performance art for those who would love to wear a costume

And want to perform as a soloist or in a group dance. We provide private sessions that will target your special skills

And develop you as an artist representing the Art of Middle Eastern Dance.

It is easy to forget the art of the dance when those who are uneducated try and promote belly dance as burlesque and go go dancing. This is an age old problem, since the first Belly Dancer at the World’s Fair.

Every performance art has it’s place but at Tapestry we strive to maintain our heritage and know the value of authenticity as a art that Will always be respected.

We assist you with costume design, business acumen and performance opportunities

So you will advance your personal interest within your own time frame and skill level.

Amara is a coach to mentor Tapestry Students as long as they wish, 36 years of

Stainable and Successful experience counts for something.

With effort, students that qualify may be invited into Tapestry Dance Theatre, a

Prestigious dance company where you join the ranks of top dancers before you

Over 36 years who have gone onto successful careers in dance or just enjoy

Belly Dance as a hobby.
